Its a NEL thing
I'm curious to know if NEL even has enough trains to run at
intervals of 1.5-2 mins during off-peak... Their ratio of 25 trains
to 15 stations is so much less compared to SMRT's 106 trains to 51
stations... Taking NEL upwards during peak hours is quite a
nightmare...
To top that, even taking it between 10pm to 12am is even worse! The
crowds are still quite insane even though its off-peak and an
irritating fact is SBS switches off their station air-cons at like
10+ such that by 11pm getting off a train or waiting for 1 makes
one feel extremely stale in the warm air, especially after a long
day out.
I don't understand why so many people are complaining about SMRT
frequencies when SBS ones are so much worse, given that they have
successfully forced so many commuters to take NEL.
